Linking and QA

Linking refers to the process of including jumps and pop-ups within the text. To guide us in this process, we use the linking map that we originally created. However, as we proceed, we review and sometimes revise the placement of jumps and pop-ups so that they work most effectively within the online document.

| QA (Quality Assurance) is the process
by which we make sure that all the jumps and pop-ups work correctly.
This is one of the most critical yet time-consuming phases of the project. We must scrupulously check each link to ensure that clicking on a particular hot spot produces the desired result. The next phase of the process is implementation of the search function. |
